What Happens When Athletes Over 50 Train With a Real Community & System
"Back to my previous competitive form"
My shoulders were messed up, and my range of motion was practically zero. Dan guided me to balance out both strength and ROM. This has gotten me back to my previous competitive form and to develop a safer and more effective program.

"Much stronger with a boosted Vo2 max"
Dan’s 50+ Hybrid Athlete training template helped my husband and me get much stronger (safely) and boosted our Vo2 max thresholds. Excellent S&C coach with a keen sense of practical fueling strategies.

I'm Still Competing at 64.
Here's What That's Taught Me About Coaching You.
I've been strength training for sport since 1978. Springboard diving, martial arts, triathlon, hill running, obstacle courses, boxing — I'm not coaching from a textbook. I'm in it with you.
After 25+ years of working with athletes and earning my MS in exercise physiology and sports nutrition (with a research focus specifically on over-50 athletes), plus my CSCS certification, I've seen what happens when experienced athletes apply generic advice to aging bodies. They plateau. They get hurt. They start wondering if their best days are behind them.
They're not. They're just using the wrong playbook.
My approach isn't about motivation. It's about alignment — matching your training stress, fueling, and recovery to what your physiology actually needs after 50. That's a different problem than what most coaches solve, and it requires a different kind of expertise.

Expert-Led. Evidence-Driven
My ongoing education draws from the leading researchers in sports nutrition and strength science — including the ISSN, NSCA, and practitioners like Dr. Brad Schoenfeld and Dr. Alan Aragon — so what I teach reflects current evidence, not outdated convention. I also collaborate with a vetted advisory team including a registered sports dietitian, orthopedic surgeon, physical therapist, and strength specialists — because no single discipline has all the answers for the 50+ athlete.
